TRAILPLAIN

Affiliate Disclosure

How commercial links are handled.

Current site status

No affiliate links, affiliate accounts or paid product placements are configured in this version of TrailPlain. Links to manufacturer and educational sources are ordinary reference links. TrailPlain does not receive an affiliate commission through the links in these delivered files.

If affiliate links are added

Articles containing affiliate links must carry a clear disclosure near the relevant content before the link is used. Such a link may earn the site a commission when a reader makes an eligible purchase. The actual program terms and tracking practices must be checked when configuring the links.

Editorial treatment

A commercial link must not be presented as field-test evidence. Product selection, limitations and the basis of assessment should remain visible. Pending affiliate configuration is recorded in the delivery notes; inactive purchase buttons are not included on the site.
